Providing Portals To The World Of Virtual Medicine

Be a Volunteer

The Phoenix Foundation can not operate with out people. It doesn't matter whether you are young or old, rich or poor we need your help.   Just one or  maybe  two hours a week can make a difference. There are so many things that need to be done.

Collecting Information

If you are connected to the web you can help us collect and process the data for our library.   We need librarians to catalog  and professionals to evaluate; but, most of all, we need  those  people  who are  interested  in  a  specific field of  medicine to surf the web and  e-mail us sites that report new information.

Helping on the Web Site

One of our most difficult and time  consuming  tasks  is  to convert  information   into an HTML  format so that it can be published on the web.   If you know some HTML code we really need you.  We also need  graphics  artists to help draw our  artwork and design page layout and programmers to write script for pages.  We could use database engineers too.

Command Centers

The Phoenix Foundation's Library  will  provide on-line meeting  rooms  and  bulletin boards for any group wishing to support a  "War Room" to conquer  a   specific  disease. These will be central clearing houses for scientists to share the latest research data.
